The step-by-step implementation procedure covers verifying Connector readiness, preparing Catalyst 9300/9400 switches, installing the IoT Wired Service, onboarding switches individually or via spreadsheet bulk import, mapping infrastructure, and enabling the "Include Wired Devices" setting in Live Occupancy.

  • Cisco Spaces Device Compatibility Matrices

    ➤ Updated the device compatibility matrices to rename the "App Support" column to "Spaces App Support" and added a new "Third Party Partner/Vendor" column. Modified several device recommendations, partner listings, and app support details across multiple use cases, including renaming "Haltian Thingsee (PIR)" to "Thingsee Presence," adding "EOL" (End of Life) designations to several Meraki Things sensors, and introducing new temperature sensors from Ela Innovation and Securitas Healthcare. Additionally, updated the "Asset Tracking (BLE)" use case to include the "T22" and "Securitas T22" devices, while replacing "Kontakt" with "Asset Tracker" in the supported apps list.



  • Digital Map Pro and CAD/DWG/PDF Best Practices

    ➤ Removed the limitations stating that users cannot delete individual floor Digital Maps (which previously required opening a TAC case) and cannot process individual floors in parallel in the same Building.


  • Upgrading Smart Workspaces Kiosk/Signage Version

    ➤ Removed the Kiosk v2.0 upgrade details, feature overview, and timeline, and updated the Kiosk v2.1 section with a feature overview video link and specific upgrade timeline dates for the .sg, .eu, and .io environments. Modified the firewall rules link to point to the "Cisco Spaces Firewall Traffic Matrix" instead of "Kiosk List of API Endpoints for Firewall Settings," and added a new "Continued Issues Post Upgrade" section with instructions for opening a TAC case.

    ➤ Provides deployment and validation guidance for integrating Securitas Healthcare BLE tags (T22 Asset Tag and T23 Staff Protection Tag) with Cisco Spaces and Cisco Catalyst wireless infrastructure.
